Street Crime
There are 20 options when attempting a Street Crime, ranging from Stealing from a tramp to Robbing the Bank of England. Each crime has a progress bar, the higher the percentage, the better chance you have at succeeding the crime.
It is a great way to make money, but be warned if you fail you can be put in prison for a while and have a maximum timer reset of 8 minutes 20 seconds.
Vehicle Theft
- See also: Vehicles
Vehicle Theft is a great way to steal cars, which are used for various other things. There are 3 types of cars Upper Class, Middle Class and Lower Class. The maximum success percentage for all car classes is 90%. Although that 10% may not seem a lot, it can still throw you in the cells.
There are many different types of cars you can drive off in, they will all have a random amount of damage to them. When you have successfully stolen a vehicle they will appear in your garage where you can ship, sell or crush the car (and more).
| Lower Class | Middle Class | Upper Class |
| $8,000 - $23,000 | $23,000 - $46,000 | $46,000 - $114,000 |
Your success percentages will increase as you attempt more vehicle thefts. Lower class success percentage will increase 1% for each 2 attempts. Middle class Success percentage will increase 1% for each 6 attempts. Upper class success percentage will increase 1% for each 18 attempts.
Armed Robbery
Here you can choose a weapon and then a place to rob. Sometimes you may not steal as much as you spent on your weapon, although sometimes you may strike lucky and get away with a good load of cash.
The places you can choose from are listed in order of how hard they are to steal from, easiest being at the top. You will also find it much easier to succeed as you rank up. Also, as you rank up you will unlock different places to target, which will enable you to steal more money.

| Knife | 15% | FREE |

Extortion
Extortion is a way to make large amounts of money. The way in which extortion works is that it can randomly find a player to 'extort' or you can target a player.
Extorting money from players is a hard task, when targeting a player, the difficulty raises.
You can extort very low amounts of money ($100) and extremely high amounts (over $1,000,000). Whilst this is a great way to earn money, you can be caught and put in prison.
Commit Fraud
Committing fraud will allow you to get away with a reasonable amount of cash. This can vary from $10,000 to $150,000. The succession rate is very low, so if you do fail, you can be spending a long time in prison.
Because you can get a large amount of money from this crime, the timer on it is quite long, don't expect to be doing this crime every 10 minutes. However, you can reset the timer with credits.
Police Chase
The Police Chase is a 'random outcome' crime. The object of the crime is to escape from the police. The longer the chase (the more clicks on the directions) the more cash you receive. It is very simple and easy, although it can put you in the slammer for a while!
Paid Work
(Currently under construction).
Paid work will be missions that you can complete for Butchie Gweyno, an NPC (Non-playable character).
Information about paid work:
- Jobs vary and as such some will take longer to complete than others.
- Your pay will alter per job and will not always be in cash.
- There will usually be a new job available 1-2 hours after completing one.
Killing & Weapons
This is where you can view all your options to kill a player, set your backfire, buy a gun and more.
Kill Player
This is where you shoot at and (hopefully) kill a player. You will need a gun and bullets to shoot at and kill someone, you will also need to find their location by using detectives (below), to shoot at your target you need to be in the same location as them.
There are many reasons for attempting to kill a user, whether it be to take over a family, business or out of anger. If you successfully kill someone you will receive your target's full wealth and any businesses that they owned. If the target was on the hitlist, you will also receive the bounty as soon as you have killed them.
Another benefit from killing is that you receive level points and kill points.
Locate Player
To be able to kill a player you must first locate their whereabouts, this is where the Gangster Nation detectives step in. They charge per 30 minutes and will find it very hard to locate higher levelled players. If the detectives come back with a location, the report will only last 12 hours, so it is important that you make the kill or send the location to another player as quickly as possible.
You must remember that detectives may not always come back with a result the first time round, but the longer they search the higher the chance they have of locating your target.
Below are the prices the detectives charge.
| Time | Price |
|---|---|
| 30m | $7,000 |
| 1h | $14,000 |
| 1h 30m | $21,000 |
| 2h | $28,000 |
| 2h 30m | $35,000 |
| 3h | $42,000 |

(Currently undergoing maintenance).
Witness Statements
When a player is killed there may be one or two witnesses. If you are a witness you will receive an event and you will have their location on record, furthermore, these witness statements can be transferred and sold to players via the auction house.
Any witness statements older than 7 days will be removed from your archive.
Your Gun
This is where you buy your all important weapon, the gun. There are 7 different types of guns you can buy, each of them have stars next to them indicating how effective they are when shooting. The cheapest has 1
and the most expensive has 7
of effectiveness.
The prices range from $5,000 to a staggering $1,500,000.
On this page you can also set your backfire amount. Backfire is a set amount of bullets a player will shoot back at the player who shoots them. If you have a better gun and more bullets you will kill the player, you do not receive kill points for backfire kills.
Example:
- Player x shoots 10,000 bullets at player y.
- Player y has set their backfire to 25,000 bullets.
- Player x dies.
- Player y has set their backfire to 25,000 bullets.
Please note: Killing a player always depends on the effectiveness of your gun.
Possible Targets
This area shows you all the players who have logged into Gangster Nation within the last 3 days who are in your shooting range (6 levels above and below).
You will need to locate the player first, before shooting them.
Sudden Death
This is an upcoming feature in which two players agree to enter "sudden death", one is then picked at random to die. It is a way for two users to sort out their differences in the game.
